Blue boards with light yellow spine clean square and tight. Remains of tape marks on covers, library marks and stickers endpapers and title page, bottom edge of text block, else clean and tight interior. DJ not price clipped, bottom 1" of spine clipped - looks like a library spine sticker removed. Else clean and crisp. 246 pages. Story of an orphan boy who is farmed out to work on a horse farm where he discovers he has a way with horses. Author dedicates this novel to her father who was an orphan in Nebraska and farmed out to lead a very hard life. He also had a way to communicate with horses. Author wrote The Season of Ponies. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall 1st Printing.
