Giles cartoons published in the Sunday Express and Daily Express from September 27th 1955 to August 26th 1956. Cartoons include a lot of references to the Suez crisis amongst many other subjects including USSR, China and Marilyn Monroe. ***Very good in glossy colour illustrated warps. Bottom corner of title-page has not been price-clipped, showing original publisher's price of 4/6. Edges of wrappers slightly rubbed. Tail of spine bumped. Head and tail of spine slightly rubbed. Light crease to lower rear wrapper. Very slight foxing to edges of prelims and rear endpapers. A few tiny surface marks to fore-edge of text-block. Interior pages clean. No inscriptions. Spine tight. Colour wrappers bright.
