First edition. 8vo. 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" sewn pictorial wrappers, 32 pp., double column. The Nickel Library, Series Twelve, No. 276, June 24, 1882. On pages 26-27 is "THE SLEEP-WALKER" by A Young Attorney; pages 28-29 is "A WILD RIDE" by Hector Betram; and "CHINESE CHARMS" by an anonymous contributor on page 30. St. George H. Rathborne (1854-1938) is the author of this title and Marline Manly is one of his many pseudonyms. The Nickel Library was the first series to be priced lower than the standard "DIME NOVELS."
