Vol I 640 pp Steel engraved frontis - Glasgow from the South East 1693+ several other unspecified such- mainly in text, 4 large fold outs:- 1) Old Glasgow 2)Seals of Old Facies 3) Plan of Part of city and course of burn Malendinar incl plan of Saw Mill of William Fleming - demolished 1764 and 4) Glasgow Fair 1825. Vol II Pagination [ii] pp 641 to 1280. Frontis with tissue guard, illustrated title, numerous other unspecified steel engravings some full page. Published by John Tweed 1873. Good (Shelf rubbing and general soiling to leather and cloth, gilts decs to raised cords rubbed and Vol Nos indistinct, Vol I - Ink previous owner name to free front end paper, 3 cm approx marginal tear to one fold out- repaired with conservation tape. Vol II - 8 cm crack to leather front hinge - binding cords holding. tissue guard tanned with a little offsetting to title. No other observed defects).
