Good clean tight copy. A light-hearted look at inns and taverns based on county records and Quarter Sessions documents. There were lots of inns/pubs and the authors illustratrations are helpful. They really look at the role of the pub and alcohol in Gloucester in the C18th. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
