Frontis and three illustrations on glossy paper by Morris H Pancoast. True first edition of this book and series which was later published by Houghton Mifflin and Grosset & Dunlap. Harry Hudson in his bibliography of boys' series books did not know of this first edition. Book with corners bumped; previous owner name at front in pencil; overall light wear. VERY GOOD.
