Lacks front endpaper of both volumes, 'Times Ofice' small label on pastedowns, slight soiling and slight marking, 'Discard' stamp to top of title page of volume one which is slightly chipped at edge and has additional 'Dulau and Company' booksellers label, otherwise VG in original publisher's brick red cloth lettered and patterned in black.
