Sandra Curtis, Ph.D., works as a Creative Director for Zorro Productions, Inc. in Berkeley, CA, consulting on film, stage, television, publishing and merchandising projects. Her master's degree in Kinesiology and her doctorate in Education focused on children with special needs. She has recently been a prestigious Wexner Heritage Foundation Fellow.
In addition to GABRIEL'S ARK, Curtis has authored a series of seven Zorro novels for middle readers, along with two biographies and a book on developmental movement. She lives in Berkeley with her husband and their three children. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, ceramics, yoga and gardening. The story of GABRIEL'S ARK was originally published by Torah Aura Productions in an 'Instant Lesson' format, designed for a one-time classroom workshop.
