4to, i-viii plus Errata leaf, folding lithographic frontispiece depicting 'The Interior of a Billiard Room', 93 plates of which plates 1 and 2 are missing and replaced in facsimile, Press Review page and advertisement for John Thurston Billiard Table Manufacturer at rear. Rebound in recent cloth in an attractive style, the frontispiece may have been taken from another copy. The frontispiece has a marginal tear on a fold which doesn't affect the image. The contents are very clean and despite the two replacement plates this is an acceptable copy of a classic Victorian Billiard book priced to account for any faults.
