8vo, pp251 with 95 b/w plates, many double page foldouts. Hard cover no dust jacket. Full Dark Blue Morocco binding with 5 raised bands and gilt titles to spine in good condition with some rubbing to spine, edges and tips and some marks boards and spine. Inside armorial bookplate of Douglas Service to front paste down, the odd spot of foxing otherwise all rough cut pages with top edge gilt in very good clean condition with many pages uncut.

Nikki Green Books is based in Glasgow. Beth Lowell-Green is a third generation bookdealer, who along with her partner Nikki reside in sunny Glasgow. The origins of the business began with Beth's grandmother, Eve Lowell, who started The Dartmoor Bookshop in Ashburton at the back of Beth's grandfathers newsagent shop before moving to her own premises in the town. Beth spent her formative years working with her parents, who started Sue Lowell Natural History Books, based in London. We specialise in natural history, Scottish interest and ornithology along with the rare and unusual.
