Red cloth with gilt spine titles and cover decoration in blind; 8vo; 374pp; illustrated with b/w photo frontispiece plus 31 other full page plates; large fold-out map at rear. "This book reflects (Percival's) vast knowledge of the game and its habitat, with important descriptions of the terrain and numerous hunting adventures." (Czech) Successful hunts for lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, buffalo and plains game are recorder within. Spine lightly faded, former owner's name inked to front free endpaper, light scattered foxing, map OK, otherwise a solid VG copy.
