In the publisher's dust jacket, $5.00 on the front flap, tissue repair to closed tear along spine, bright illustrations. While the publication date for this copy remains 1948, it differs in the type of cloth used and the jacket is highlighted in pink. Either a pirated edition, or an unstated reprint from the Public Affairs Press. A true second printing appeared in 1954.
