About this Item
The Garden of Brhum. A collection of 10 poems written and illustrated by Arthur Hougham, having as their theme, the green areas and parks of Birmingham: Highbury, Fox Hollies, Perry Hall, Perry Park, Cannon Hill, St. Martin's, Swanshurst, Lloyd's Farm, Five ways and Summerfield. The images have a fantastic, magical quality. There is, in addition, a Nativity Scene on the first page. Date: Undated but known to be 1920's. A First Edition. Size: 9 x 11 1/2 inches. Page number: 12 sheets printed on one side only with black ink on cream coloured paper. The cover is of heavy pale blue paper printed in green. Condition: Near Fine. The pages are clean, but for a few very small marks and three small patches of foxing that do not affect the images themselves. They are slightly thumbed. The tips of the cover are just a little bumped and there is a mark on the front cover to the top right. Seller Inventory # 000587
