About this Item

Undated but a presumed First edition. The date 1918 is written neatly in ink on the first end paper along with the name of a school. Hardcover. Size: 23.5 x18.5 cms or 9 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches. Blue cloth boards with black illustration and lettering. Chapters cover pattern cutting, general remarks on the making of garments, suitable materials, ornamental stitches, baby garments, girl's garments, knickers and drawers, doll's bed linen and doll's garments. The whole is abundantly illustrated in black and white. Condition: Very Good. The cloth cover is generally worn and rubbed at the corners. The binding holds together well. The pages within remain fresh, clean and un-thumbed.
