Adelaide, W.K. Thomas and Co., Printers, 1913. Sextodecimo, 58 pages plus 6 plates. Original printed textured wrappers with the full title page details repeated on the front cover; wrappers slightly marked and a little dusty, with light wear to the ends of the spine; inner margin of one leaf creased (a minor production flaw); a very good copy. A presentation copy, inscribed on the verso of the title page 'To Walter Howchin Esq F.G.S. etc | with the writer's best wishes | Wetunga | 3/10/14'. McLaren 16759 ('Expedition commenced from Port Augusta on 21 August 1912'). Not noted (and presumably not noticed) by the bibliographer, pages 42-58 contain 'Bird Life on the Lakes. Ornithological Observations', an account of an earlier short journey White and his wife took to the Murray Lakes and environs in late February 1912.…
