Signed, inscribed and dated by Nikki Giovanni on a loosely laid-in, adhesive-backed bookplate. Book is about fine; tight, clean and bright. Binding and hinges are sound. Mustard-color cloth is bright; stamped in bright red titles on spine. Tiny chip to edge of front pastedown. Two tiny faint age spots on top page edges. Original, rare DJ is in poor condition as the majority of it is missing. Four-fifths of the front is present, and the front flap with $5.95 price intact. The rest of the DJ is absent.
