Gene Autry and the Ghost Riders was written by Lewis Patten and illustrated by Bob Bartram and James Eggers. The book was published by Whitman Publishing Company in 1955 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It is not an ex-library copy and is in good + condition with no dust jacket and laminated pictorial boards. It DOES also have a brittle spine as so many of these older Whitman's do. The book is 5 5/8" by 7 7/8" and has 282 pages with a Table of Contents and black-and-white and three-color illustrations throughout. I'm sure the spine has to be getting a little brittle, but at this point its in great shape for nearly 60 years of service. Thank you!!
