1st. Edn. pp. xi, 394. From the publisher's "University Series in Higher Mathematics." In the original dark blue buckram with gilt lettered spine and black lettered front board. The lettering is rubbed and faded. There is slight wear at the corners. There are a few slight marks to the boards. In all a near very good sound copy.
