Bound in contemporary half calf; marbled paper-covered boards; initial and terminal blanks; two hand-coloured folding engraved maps and three plates (two of sheep and one of farming equipment; printed footnotes; tables in the text. Provenance: Aytoun of Inchdairnie armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Condition: FAIR. Joints cracked but holding. Spine ends and points somewhat rubbed. Interior well-preserved. Scarce.
