116 pages two tone paper boards, wrapper complete but split along spine has put the wrapper in two parts also a closed split at top edge and an ingrained dustiness. Boards and contents very good with a small old owners label on half title and some mild foxing here on this page. Tight clean copy of this curiosity. *The series of talks about "officer conduct" is littered with examples of previous historical war anecdotes about the Germans and their behaviour past and present. The officer signs at the end X.Y.Z. There is the name of General Sir H. L. Smith-Dorrien on the wrapper promoting the book, however I don't think he was the actual writer. He is just praising the work. (I could be wrong, it has been known!). Seller Inventory # 5038
