Three classic tales from Scheherezade: "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,'' "Abu Keer and Abu Seer," & "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp"--are retold by Mitchell, with brand new pen-and-ink illustrations b Tom Pohrt throughout the 181 pages. Hardcover book has plain mustard-colored cloth over boards with red lettering to spine. Though this is an Ex-Lib copy, condition is Near Fine: extremely clean, binding straight & strong, pages white. Some small neat stamps in front matter. Worst flaw is magic markered out library stamps on outside top & bottom page edges. The unclipped DJ is also Fine, protected under library mylar, which is completely clear & bright, but affixed to book at flaps, so we are not going to try & remove it. A lovely copy!
