George has also been associated with countless top-class horses, such as his 1992 Oaks and St Leger winner User Friendly and more recently the Eclipse hero Giant's Causeway and the dual Champion Stakes heroine Alborada. Finally, George has experience of racing all round the world, and not just the leading racing nations: in Jamaica he had bricks thrown at him during a race and in the paddock one day even found himself in the midst of a gunfight!
