Schrader. Frank Charles Schrader (1860-1944) of Harvard and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) was a well-known and respected American geologist, mineralogist, and entomologist, and author. He was known throughout the west as the prospector's friend and was also one of the first federal geologists to explore Alaska. Exterior shows toning and some light soiling, there is also some minor edge bumps and chipping present. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight. Paper is toned due to age and there is some minor spotting/foxing present. No handwriting or library markings. The rear of book contains a brown envelope which was cut open at the top. Inside is a large foldout chart which is in good shape.
