A very good copy of the Wartburg Press first hard cover edition in a good+ dust-jacket. The text is wholly unmarked, pristine: no inscriptions or previous owners' names. It is rare to find the first edition of this volume with the dust-jacket, which is in good+ condition: fraying, with a couple of 1" splits at the flap-folds, and 1/4" chips missing at the top and base of the spine. The blue cloth binding with paste-down titles is remarkably bright and fresh in appearance. Slight discoloration midway down the cover seams, front and back, though this may be an effect of the binding. Binding is tight and solid throughout. A lovely copy of the jacketed first edition.
