Offering this beautiful 3-volume pebbled green hardcover set of George Eliot's Life as Related in Her Letters and Journals, a rranged and edited by Her Husband J. W. Cross, with Illustrations. New York: Harper & Brothers, 1885, 1st American Edition. Illustrations include three frontispiece portrait engravings with original tissue guards, a 2-page facsimile of Eliot's handwriting, and several other illustrations. Overall condition is very good: clean, unmarked, with tight bindings and light wear. A lovely set.
