Limited to 250 copies. [2], xviii, 284pp, [2], 210pp [Ethiopic Texts], bound in maroon cloth, deckled page edges, binding and hinges tight. Complete with 13 plates, as called for. Covers show bumped corners, light sunning, interior shows light foxing to the preliminary pages, pages uncut, foxing to outer page edges. From the personal collection of Dr. Brooks Ryder (1918-1995), graduate of Harvard College, Harvard School of Public Health, and Tufts Medical School. Known for his Public Health expertise overseas, throughout East Africa and Indonesia.
