First edition. Fine in toned, very good dust jacket with some very shallow abrasions on the lower panel and nicking at the crown. Includes the 40-page narrative poem, "Black Boat (Dedicated to the memory of two hundred and seven Enlisted Negro Seamen, who lost their lives at Port Chicago, California, on July 17, 1944, at 10:19p.m., and to the Dark Minority who are not yet civically, economically, and spiritually free)."
