One of the best and highest-selling books for young children ever, this book presents well, with a book in near fine condition, with a good (and scarce) dust jacket. The book has an owner's inscription (scored out) to front paste down. Very light handling and reading wear. A small scribble to one of the later pages. In the jacket, some tears to the rather fragile paper jacket, neatly corrected with professional tape. Cover is foxed in areas, a common issue with this book, and there is evidence of slight stains to rear.

Shipping terms
We hope you find the online purchasing process smooth. If you would like to pay in another way - e.g. by bank transfer or by card over the telephone - please get in touch by phone or email.
Free 48-hour tracked shipping within the UK for all orders.
In the UK, we normally use Royal Mail. POSTAGE IS FREE WITHIN THE UK.
Different postage rates are applied at checkout for customers ordering from outside the UK. The rates shown are INDICATIVE ONLY based on packages of up to 2kg. Exceptions will be discussed on a case by case basis. POSTAGE MAY BE ADJUSTED UP OR DOWN and you may receive a notification advising a change of charge to your payment method.
We deliberately recycle packaging. Your books will be given much care and attention before dispatch and will be sent in pre-used materials.
As a matter of course, all our books are cleaned sensitively, researched, catalogued, photographed and thus treated with the respect a vintage artefact deserves. We then re-cover most of our books in new, industry standard protective wrappers. These are inert, acid-free, and will not harm the book or dust jacket. We don't do this only if there is already a clean and serviceable wrapper on the book, or if to remove a previous covering would cause damage.
