First edition. 8vo. Publisher's original cloth, very good in a price-clipped dust wrapper, this with some gentle discolouration to backstrip, not too pronounced, a couple of tiny closed tears to extremities, webbing a little exposed between the half-title and title pages, though sound, a touch dusty but overall a very pleasing example; a multi-layered classic of fiction consistently considered one of the best English-language novels of the last one hundred years. Further questions on condition welcome.
