Item description from seller

Illustrated by L.M. Duffy. 31 pages. "One Action for Playing All Strokes (except putting)." Twelve full-page illustrations. A series of exercises to affect a proper swing. The closing notes summarize the author's concept of a stroke: "flick of the wrist, crouch, lean left, turn back on ball, relax, crash behind the ball." He continues, "At first these should be thought of in succession before making the stroke. Several of them can be dropped as proficiency is attained." Dubious advice at best. Green cloth covers bright and clean with sharp corners, initialed gift inscription on ffep dated 23/8/27, the year of publication. Uncommon, unclipped dust jacket soiled with slight edge chipping, protected by mylar. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
