(dedicatee) from Louise Fazenda Van Nuys, California Aug 1st 1896" (sic). "This book is signed by actress/comedienne Louise Fazenda. She began her career in 1913, and joined Mack Sennett's Keystone in 1915 and became one of the studio's principal female comic talents. Probably the best known film that we might recognize would be TILLIE'S PUNCTURED ROMANCE in which she played Tillie opposite W.C. Fields. She was married to producer Hal B. Wallis." (From a notecard laid in). She was married to Hal Wallis until her death in 1962. She appeared in over 300 films.
