November, 1936 printing in original matching wrapper. Including the May first printing, this is the twenty-seventh printing which is also stated at front of wrapper. Uncommon in original wrapper. Scarce example nearly ninety years in existence. Butternut (greyish brown) full cloth boards, navy stamped cover and spine titles, moderate edge, corner wear, rub. Deckled pages good; varying tanning, some shadowing at first few pages. Stylish antiquarian inscription pencilled at front endpaper: "W. S. Patrick - Xmas 1936, from Mrs. A. F. Mooney." Bind square, intact. Original issue dust wrapper matching first in design, some edge wear, rub, crease; unclipped 3.00, protected in new clear sleeve. Scarce near good early issue in same wrapper.
