AEG. Unpaginated. Green cloth boards with beveled edges, decoratively stamped in gilt, titled in black, rubbing to joints and edges, corners worn, gift inscription, but clean over ll. A compilation of comic art published in "Life" Magazine from the preceding year. Includes work by Palmer Cox, Harry Whitney McVickar, William Henry Hyde, Edward Winsor Kemble, John Ames Mitchell, etc. A few of the comics contain stereotypical depictions of non-white and indigenous peoples and there is some use of black dialect. Size: Oblong 4to.
