The Stiff paper cover has become brittle with age and thew are some chips and some wear. Edge tanning in the interior pages. The spine panel chipped at both tips. However the book is still tightly bound and unmarked. A few pages of ads in the beginning, as end papers , and at the end, after the index. There are chips in the paper at the spine staples in these ads at the end. Mrs. Sara Tyson Rorer, a dietician and food writer, was the author of several popular cookbooks during this era, including "Field Guide to Fungi", "World Cooking", "Robin Hood Flour Cookbook", and others, and published a magazine called "Table Talk". She was a pioneer of Domestic Science and Nutrition. 202 pp.
