Providing an account of the linguistic rules of the Ethiopian Semitic language, spoken as the first language by the Amharas, and serving to this day as a lingua franca in many major Ethiopian cities and towns.Retaining the original preliminary advertising leaf. With the bookplate R. C. to the front pastedown.Isenberg went on to translate the Anglican Book of Common Prayer into the Amharic Language. In a half morocco binding, with marbled paper covered boards. Rubbing to boards, with small amounts of worming to tail of front board, resulting in minor loss to leather.
