Item description from seller

Oversized Green cloth with gilt lettering. Previous owner stamp to front endpaper, text is otherwise clean and bright, no marks. Profusely illustrated throughout with with diagrams which are enlarged so students can easily copy them, and scores. "The material is presented in a manner which will enable the student to learn quickly and thoroughly. It is arranged so the student naturally proceeds from one problem to the next, accumulating technique as he goes on. Includes discussion of full scores and shows how to prepare them from the point of view of baton technique. "Unclipped dust jacket with $6.00 price show chips and loss to head and heel of spine and corners, large closed tear to rear panel, light general soiling and wear. Looks nice in new Brodart. Lots of interesting ephemera tipped in: a silhouette conductor suitable for framing, a thick envelope of handwritten conducting notes, a playbill from a performace of Yehudi Menuhin, violinist.
