Add to basketForty Grand Prix cars from 1906 through 1963, in top, sides, front and back scale drawings (5 drawings per car); thirty sports cars from 1896 through 1964 in top, side and front views (3 drawings per car). Hays built models for Lord Beaulieu's museum of automobile history and had been drawing these cars for many years beforehand. These are essential for anyone interested in the history of auto racing or the construction of model cars. This copy shows slight water damage to the dustjacket (and possibly the binding, but not to the pages) at the lower spine corner of both covers and the spine itself, and a few rubbed patches on the bottom edge of the boards. Previous owner's name and date/place of purchase on front free endpaper (small and discreet). Oversized and heavy volume (12"x16") -- postage will be more than ABE's default value.
