A good copy of the second impression (published in 1951, the same year as the first impression) of the first edition of John Symonds' well known biography of the notorious British occultist Aleister Crowley. This is a good copy, and Very good inside. Pages are very clean and clear: aside from a little tanning to FEPs and a small neat bookseller (Charles Wilson, Liverpool) sticker to front pastedown all pages are clean and intact and just have the very slightest of expected age wear. All photos and illustrations are present and clear. Binding is very good. Boards are in good condition: blue on front remains bright and strong, same on back albeit with a few small marks.
