160pp. 7.5 inches. Green buckram, gilt titles. Back corner bumped, other corners lightly bumped. Faint speckle of foxing to tops. Internally, no owner's marks, trace of foxing to prelims and last pages. Hint of a crease to ffep. Faint trace of a bookseller price. Jacket with dramatic illustration by Peter Rudland, about vg, illustration in good order, the white back heavily discoloured, nicked at folds, old tape on inner surface reinforcing spine top and closed inch tear, slightly rubbed at spine extremities and fold, tanned upper and lower edge of leaves, priceclipped, and now all protected in mylar wrap.
