104 numbered pages, index. First Edition/First Printing. Green binding with spine stamped in yellow, decorative device on front board. Bright, clean, tight, and square text block, no marks of any kind. Corners sharp. The first half of the book consists of essays by Venables on the various districts of the region. following are 28 pages of detailed full-page maps taken from the Ordnance Survey of Angling Waters in South-East England, and following that are 29 pages of descriptions of the waters shown in the maps showing how to get to the rivers, type of fish in the rivers, nearby tackle shops, restaurants, etc. Although potentially out of date, nevertheless very useful data. Must have if you're planning to fish that area. Also, there are many engaging illustrations by Bernard Venables in both monochrome and colour throughout the book.
