See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original dark green cloth, blindstamped with gilt on spine. Spine is chipping and small tear near the word Baker on the spine edge. Original yellow end pages, front end page has and name penciled which may be erased if desired. Pages are toned due to age and foxing (some heavy) is present some pages also show evidence of light staining or corner folds. Binding good, no hinge cracks, no torn or loose pages found. First edition thus. Frontispiece is steel engraving of the author and tissue guard is present and attached.

Store description

Yesterday's Book Shop is a small, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.

Specialty

First editions, signed editions, limited editions, pre-1950 collectible copies with most being around the turn of the twentieth century and earlier.
