Frontispiece illustration + Title page + printers page + ix to xii (contents) + pages 1 to 54. Condition Unbound. Contents fair/good, 2 Blank front endpages, Part only of folding frontispiece illustration of Entrance to Thetford by Wilkinson of Thetford, see scan, lacking a few pages between Title page/ printers page and page ix/contents, someone in antiquary has crossed out page numbers not included here, some ageing/foxing, last page a bit loose. At base of page 54 is in ink End. So missing the details of the spings, i.e. page 55 to 159 & preface at front etc. Historically interesting with the geographical situation of Thetford, list and details of the various ruins, the present state of Thetford, coaches, 2 libraries, fishing, theatre, the market, fairs, churches, charitable institutions, grammar school, public buildings, noblemen & Gentlemen around Thetford including Duke of Grafton, Duke of Norfolk, Lord Calthorpe, Earl of Cadogan, Earl of Shannon, Willian Newton, Lord Walsingham, Lord Clermont, Sir Charles & Henry Bunbury, Miss Hethersett etc. and their home. This is one of the rarest works by Accum. Only a few copies in institutions, most just have it on micro form.
