This is a set of the two limited edition bibliographies by Roger Allen; The Guide to the Fiction of Rider Haggard and The Guide to the Non-Fiction of Rider Haggard. These "brief biographies" contain an alphabetic listing, price guide, synopsis, rare pictures, rare articles and appendices. Printed on A4 [297mm x 210mm] white sheets numerous b/w and some color images and black metal spiral bound and with a clear plastic cover and heavy stock rear cover. "Fiction" is limited to 200 copies of which this is #23, 80 pages, 1998. "Non-Fiction" is limited to 100, this is #35 and is inscribed to Haggard expert Al Tella, and with Allen's signature, 100 pages, 1999. These are both from the Tella estate. Both with unmarked white pages. "Fiction" in Very Fine condition and "Non-Fiction" is VG has a small soil mark at top edge, and some bug-chew at top corner of the last few pages.
