Very thick octavo, pp 824 + 10 photographic plates, very slightly age-toned but tight and firm internally, sturdily bound in brown cloth with the original covers bound in. The front endpapers have two neat stamps of the Santa Barbara Department of Agriculture. [With the signature of R. Cecil - quite possibly Rodney Cecil of the Bureau of Entomology.].
