Book plate from the Franklin Institute mounted inside front cover, with unstamped circulation sheet mounted inside back cover and call label on lower spine, with minor foxing along text block edges, otherwise unmarked and about as issued. Dust jacket is price-clipped, with modest soiling/dampstaining, minor loss at several corners and 1" area of loss at head of rear joint, now in mylar. x,491 pp. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
