About the Author
Ed Henry is the author of two other, critically-acclaimed hiking guides: Books One & Two of Catskill Trails, A Ranger's Guide to the High Peaks (Black Dome Press: 2000), which have sold over 15,000 copies. Mr. Henry has a master's degree in forest ecology, worked for the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service, was a Park Ranger in the Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks,and now works for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
