True first British printing. No jacket. Illustrated by C. E. Brock. 151 pages plus four pages of publisher's adverts to rear. Green boards with black lettering to spine and front are very good with minor pushing/bumping to corners, light crease to spine (book has been read), the odd very small mark, odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed brown have the odd small mark/small scratch. Neat gift inscription and date in pen inside front board. Pages little tanned. End-papers bit tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Light crease to top corner of a few pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to pages.
