Stated First Edition + same date cp & tp. Quite nice inside and out incl endpapers, no names, no writing. Publisher's orange stain top edges of text block. Covers are clean, corners are square, only notable imperfections are dimpled head of spine and very shallow shelf bumping heel of spine. Plates: b&w portrait of author frontis + numerous full-page impressions of famous hands towards the rear.
