Dark blue cloth binding with blind-stamped border-lines and round gilt title centre front, no spine lettering, this is clean with only slight corner bumping, in protective acetate sleeve as acquired. brown endpapers, iv+79+6 large unfolding plates, 3 other ex-pagination in text, several un-numbered text ills in first essay, 11 in second,+ 4 pp. pub. list, issued from the "Colliery Guardian" Office, all titles related to coal mining. Only internal flaw is some dustiness along pub.list edges which extend below preceding plate block. Despite cover edge rubbing this must be considered Near Fine for its age. Scarce.16 cm x 25 cm.
