Welch previously wrote the more common History of the Pewterers. Ex lib with associated markings to front eps and spine only. Vol 1: 9 Illus and 66 'Evidences' throughout being transcriptions of historic documents. Front hinge starting, rear cracking and loosening. Extremities bumped, joints slightly worn, spine top tender. Previous owner's name to browned ffep. Vg.Vol 2: 38 Illus and 29 'Evidences' throughout. Faint 'noise' to front board near and on joint, spine ends and all extremities bumped, top page corner of rear board turned slightly. Light foxing to pre and postlims. A sound good looking copy, very good indeed. Scarce.
